POLICIES

Children:

We are happy to have children over the age of 10 staying here at The Devonia.

Please note that this is an older building and my not be completely child safe.

 

Pets:

Unfortunately at this time we do not accept pets at The Devonia 

 

Deposit:

We do require a non-refundable (subject to our cancellation policy) deposit to secure your booking. Revervations made over 14 days in advance of your stay require a deposit equal to the  first night’s stay.  Reservations made within 14 days of your stay require a 50% deposit of the total booking fee. Reservations made within 7 days of your stay require a 100% deposit of the total booking fee.

 

Payment:

Payment for the balance of your stay is due on departure and we accept most major debit/credit cards or cash.

 

Check in Check out:

Check in is from 2pm (however, on request and where possible, we may be able to make this earlier in the day) We do like to be here to greet our guests and ask for you to let us know your anticipated time of your arrival when booking, however if for any reason, we are not around a key will be left in our key safe in the front porch. Our booking confirmation will advise you the code. 

 

Room check out is 10 am, although you are welcome to leave your bags with us if you are not leaving Lyme Regis until later in the day.

Parking:

If you have reserved parking then you will find the bays clearly marked out on the uphill side of the house.

 

Cancellation Policy:

Deposits are refundable (less a 5% admin fee) if you cancel your booking at least 14 days before the date of your arrival.  

If you cancel your booking with less than 14 days but more than 7 days notice we would require payment of 50% of the total booking fee. If you cancel with less than 7 days notice we require 100% payment of the remaining total booking fee.  

 

However, notwithstanding the above, should we be able to re-let the room for the original booking period the cancellation fees shown above will be refunded (less a 5 % admin fee) once we have received payment for the new booking. Should the replacement booking be for a lesser amount, or time period, the refund would be pro-rated accordingly.

We would strongly recommend taking out insurance in case of cancellation which is relatively inexpensive.
